Car history:
This is arguably the most beautiful American muscle car ever produced. This Numbers Matching Corvette is a 2 owner car with only 62,000 miles on it. The interior was re-done about 5 years ago, as well as tires and brakes. All the gauges in the interior work, including the clock and factory radio. The motor is unmolested and is original to the car, as well as the transmission. The transmission is the High Performance 4 speed manual which was an option in 1969 and wasn't standard. The motor and carb have been rebuilt at some time but I have no receipts. The frame is in great shape, as well as the rest of the undercarriage. There is one small repair spot on the frame in front of the drivers side rear wheel about the size of a quarter. Driving this car is a pure pleasure, driving virtually flawlessly. It drives straight, and true with no rattles or shakes. The top is tight and does not leak (replaced in the last 5 years or so). The clutch is tight, and the power headlights work as they should. Included in the sale is the factory hardtop as well as the cart to hold it. The exterior is in good shape as well, but does have some scratches here and there. It is not a show car by any means, would need a paintjob to be perfect... It has been painted in the past though I'm not sure how long ago. It is very presentable in its current condition, or with a fresh paintjob could very easily be a show car. Monza Red is the factory color of the car. $15,612 and running (reservee not met). January 19, 2015.
